Magnificently created in over 1200 hours of dedicated workmanship. The 20 lengths of hand fringed and painted appliqués are set onto a base of silk organza and gazar. Each row of gazar is decorated with thread pulling, hand embroidery and fringed edges to create rich and varied texture. The sculptural flounce at the front is suspended in weightless grace on a concealed interior waist stay. The hand feathered edges around the neck, shoulders and armhole continue the narrative of wild brushstrokes and unconfined beauty. Entirely made from fine silk this dress is a true return to splendor.
