Seamless Draped Wool Gown
Cut in one length of soft virgin wool the gown is sculpted without a single seam into a blousy bloom at the back waist. The gown is suspended on the inside from several hand dyed grosgrain ribbons and an interior waist stay. Decorated further by a silk appliqué that is hand fringed and embroidered into a ribbon along back and circling the rosette. The fringe is pulled from a seamless piece of gazar and dyed by hand. The fringe is the further enchanted by a reverse dyeing technique to pull the color from the tips leaving a shadow hue behind.
